Porcupine Rim Classic:

The world-famous Porcupine Rim Classic trail is a Moab Classic! An iconic ride that needs to be on every cyclist's bucket list. It's a long pedal up from town and best when shuttled to the top. The Porcupine Rim Classic trail is the last section of the Whole Enchilada trail system.

Ride Details:

The trail begins as a double track and climbs for three (3) miles to the Porcupine Rim Classic Overlook and LPS (lower porcupine single track) intersection. Enjoy breathtaking views of Castle Valley and grab a snack. Continue down a jeep road with high speed, drops, ledges, rock gardens, and the standard Moab chunky gnar. It's not all downhill yet as there are still a few bumps and super brief climbs. Stick to the trail or choose to session the optional jumps and larger drops. Once you arrive at the Porcupine Singletrack, it's on! Enjoy sending it down miles of fast, narrow, technical, exposed ledgy, single track with magnificent views down to the Colorado River.

The trail ends at the Porcupine Rim Classic Trailhead River Parking Lot on the beautiful Colorado River located adjacent to Grandstaff Campground.

  • Geoff at Hazzard County Shuttle was an absolute godsend. If I could give this man six stars out of five, I would. He basically saved us on our Moab trip for my friends bachelor trip. We came into town late in the day with only 3 hours of light left and he gave us amazing recommendations AND met us out there on the trailhead for the shuttle to falcon flow on less than a half hours notice. Fantastic ride, and the order of trails was on point. The next day he shuttled us to LPS and gave great directions on where to go and what features are within our reach. Fantastic ride, ridiculously fun. After we finished up there he messaged us recommendations for a follow up trail that is flowy and has limited climbing (we're Floridians so our legs were completely done). The trail was amazing and absolutely what we needed. Besides being super punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable about all the trails in town, he even gave us recommendations on food. Fantastic lunch and dinner here in Moab. We look forward to our next time here and will definitely be reaching out to Geoff again. 12/10.

  • I've taken many shuttles in Moab over the years, Hazard County is by far the best! You may think that all shuttles are created equal, you'd be wrong. Hazard County Shuttles makes it incredibly convenient by picking you up at the end of the trail. That way your car, and your cold beer, awaits at the end of the single-track, not a road ride into Moab. Geoff, our driver, was great to talk with and extremely knowledgeable about the mountain biking around Moab. The van was, clean, new, and comfortable. Overall an A+++ experience!

  • "Excellent service! Reasonable Prices! Great trail advice!" Having Hazard County take us to the trails was an EXCELLENT Choice. Jeff advised on drop off/pick up locations and when it helped out to take our vehicle to take ourselves home. Rates were super reasonable and paid for themselves in time saved. If you're going for the first time, do yourself a favor and use Hazard County Shuttle for the most efficient use of valuable vacation, sunlight, and trail time! We had a BLAST!

  • Terrific personal service from start to finish. He gave me some great pointers to start to plan for our trip. We were keeping an eye on the sketchy March weather. As his weekend started to fill he even sent a message to let us know so we wouldn’t miss booking. Upon arrival he helped to dial us in and pointed us to great rides that we could do in wet weather (don’t trash the trails) including one where we didn’t need a shuttle. He also sent several videos to preview the trails and give some Slickrock history. Definitely recommend.

These are some of my favorite rides and it was great getting picked up at the trailhead for both shuttles and not needing to ride back into town when we finished the rides!
