Raptor Route Parking Lot:

Our shuttle service for the Raptor Route trail system departs from the Raptor Route Parking Lot. This lot is conveniently located 2.5 miles above the entrance booth on Sand Flats Road. Parking here saves you a 4-mile dusty pedal back to town after your ride.

About the Raptor Route:

Raptor Route is Moab's newest trail system, offering 12 miles of fun, fast, and flowy intermediate singletrack, along with a few advanced sections. It connects the Eagle Eye, Hawk's Glide, Falcon Flow, and Raptor Route trails.

Post-Ride Options:

  • Slickrock Bike Trail: If you still have energy after your Raptor Route ride, consider topping it off with a pedal along the world-famous Slickrock Bike Trail. You can choose between a 5-mile practice loop or the classic 10-mile Slickrock loop.
  • Pro Tip: Add UPS! A local favorite is to extend this ride by adding the UPS (Upper Porcupine Singletrack) trail.
    • Note: UPS is an advanced segment of The Whole Enchilada trail system.

The Raptor Route parking lot is located 2.5 miles above the entrance booth on Sand Flats Road.

Advanced Ride Options & Directions:

  • To keep Raptor Route at an intermediate level: Bypass Hawk's Glide and exit onto Sand Flats Road. Proceed down Sand Flats Road to the Raptor Route trailhead.
  • Adding part of The Whole Enchilada (Advanced Option): From the LPS/Eagle Eye drop-off location, pedal 1.3 miles up Sand Flats Road to the Kokopelli trailhead. Enter the Kokopelli trail and pedal 1.7 miles up to the intersection of the UPS (Upper Porcupine Singletrack) and Kokopelli trail. Make a left onto UPS, then exit onto LPS (Lower Porcupine Singletrack) to Eagle Eye.

Shuttle Boarding:

Please be ready to board the shuttle 15 minutes prior to departure.

To keep Raptor Route on an intermediate level, bypass Hawk's Glide and exit onto Sand Flats Road. Proceed down Sand Flats RD to the Raptor Route trailhead.

Another popular advanced option is to add part of the Whole Enchilada trail system to your ride. From the LPS /Eagle Eye drop-off location, pedal up Sand Flats road 1.3 miles to the Kokopelli trailhead. Enter the Kokopelli trail (marker 3464) and pedal 1.7 miles up to the intersection of the UPS (upper porcupine single track) and Kokopelli trail. Make a left onto UPS then exit LPS (lower porcupine single track) to Eagle Eye.
