Raptor Route is Moab's newest trail system, offering 12 miles of fun, fast, and flowy intermediate singletrack, along with a few advanced sections. It connects the Eagle Eye, Hawk's Glide, Falcon Flow, and Kestrel Run trails.
The Kestrel Run parking lot is located 2.5 miles above the entrance booth on Sand Flats Road.
Please be ready to board the shuttle 15 minutes prior to departure.
To keep Raptor Route on an intermediate level, bypass Hawk’s Glide and exit onto Sand Flats Road. Proceed down Sand Flats RD to the Kestrel Run trailhead.
Another popular advanced option is to add part of the Whole Enchilada trail system to your ride. From the LPS /Eagle Eye drop-off location, pedal up Sand Flats road 1.3 miles to the Kokopelli trailhead. Enter the Kokopelli trail (marker 3464) and pedal 1.7 miles up to the intersection of the UPS (upper porcupine single track) and Kokopelli trail. Make a left onto UPS then exit LPS (lower porcupine single track) to Eagle Eye.
The lot has been enlarged to accommodate more vehicles.
